The 13 Most Expensive Nikola Jokic Cards in the World

The Serbian Center, the Joker, Big Honey, whatever you like to call him, Nikola Jokic is simply one of the best players in the NBA. His versatile skill set and poise make him a presence whenever he steps on the court. He won't dominate with any athleticism but with a skill set that relies on precision, agility, and fakes that leave shorts hanging in the rafters. He's already established himself as the greatest passing big man in the league's history, and many are arguing that he should rightfully be considered the best passer of all time. So let's look at the most expensive Nikola Jokic basketball cards that have ever been sold, but first, let's learn a little more about the man himself.

Who is Nikola Jokic?

Jokic is a Serbian-born NBA player that plays at the center position for the Denver Nuggets. He was selected in the second round in the 2014 NBA draft but worked himself to back-to-back MVPs. Despite being so young, he ranks in the top 10 all-time in total triple-doubles in NBA history. He also holds the record for the fastest triple-double, earning himself the stat line in only 14 minutes and 33 seconds of game time.

When Jokic won his first MVP award, he joined an incredible list of foreign-born players to win the award. They include Tim Duncan, Steve Nash, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Hakeem Olajuwon, and Dirk Nowitzki. He represents his country well and has helped Serbia win a Silver Medal at the 2016 Olympic Games.

By the 2017-18 season, NBA fans were truly witnessing something special. Although he picked up no all-star selection, he finished the season averaging 18 points, 10 rebounds, and 6 assists per game. This earned him the league's Most Improved Player Award. He also managed to achieve six triple-doubles, which was just a teaser of what was to come eventually.

Since Jokic is still so young and has plenty of years left in his NBA lifespan, it's impossible to write a full career write-up. But surely, by the end of his career, he will go down as an all-time NBA legend. With that said, keep reading to see which Nikola Jokic basketball cards make the list of his most expensive basketball cards ever sold!

2015-16 National Treasures “Rookie Autographs” Platinum #152 Nikola Jokic Signed Rookie Card (#1/1) – PSA MINT 9

$61,200.00

The most expensive Nikola Jokic basketball card sold is a 2015-16 National Treasures Rookie Autographs Platinum signed rookie card featuring Jokic in a baby blue Denver jersey on a clean white background. Obviously, at this point in his career, Jokic was not a well-known commodity, coming into the NBA as a 2nd round pick. The 6-11 Serbian big man quickly established himself as a consistent inside presence, making the all-rookie 1st team after his first season, with averages of 10 points and 7 rebounds per game in 21 minutes.

The first thing you'll notice with Jokic is the price of his cards. They're lower than most players of his caliber, and I'm not sure why. It might be fueled by a little disrespect, as Jokic has been a polarizing MVP-winner over his most recent NBA seasons. With a chance of picking up a third straight MVP in 2022-23, it might significantly boost the price of his cards. If he were to win three straight MVPs, he'd join the historic ranks of Wilt Chamberlain, Bill Russel, and Larry Bird.

2015-16 Nikola Jokic National Treasures Rookie 36/99 #152 RC PSA 10 Pop 7

$35,000.00

A large drop off from Nikola Jokic's most expensive card to his second, this 2015-16 National Treasure rookie card. With ninety-nine produced, only seven have achieved the esteemed PSA rating of 10. Similar to the card above, this features a significantly slimmer Jokic in his rookie year facing up in the clean white Denver uniforms. The signature is written boldly in a deep blue, and the GEM 10 MT rating ensures it is in amazing condition.

On November 13th, 2017, he became the 17th Denver Nugget in franchise history to earn himself Player of the Week honors, the first since Ty Lawson in 2013. This was after he dropped a then-career-high 41 points against the Brooklyn Nets. Unfortunately for the Nuggets, they didn't make the playoffs this season. Their final regular season game, a 112-106 overtime loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves, kept them out of the playoffs and earned the Timberwolves the spot. Denver finished with a 46-36 record that season.

2015-16 Panini National Treasures Silver Autograph #152 Nikola Jokic Signed Rookie Card (#04/25) – BGS GEM MINT 9.5/BGS 10

$26,400.00

We see a similar card in our third spot, with the 2015-16 Panini National Treasures Silber Autograph Rookie card. The changes include a blue border, a loss of 0.5 in the GM MT value, and a decrease of almost $10,000. It still has a bold blue autograph, and Jokic facing up, probably to loaf his way into the paint and pick himself an easy bucket.

Jokic is one of the rare players that doesn't play for stats but always seems to post the most absurd lines ever. In 2018, he became the only player since Wilt Chamberlain to achieve a 30-pt triple-double without missing a field goal. Yeah, read that again. Want to know something even crazier, Chamberlain did it twice. TWICE!

2020-21 Panini Immaculate Collection Dual Logoman Autographs #DLA-JNJ Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray Dual-Signed Patch Card (#1/1) – PSA NM-MT 8, PSA/DNA Authentic

$24,960.00

This card sold for $24,960 and features the two focal points of the Denver Nuggets franchise, Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray. The card has the iconic NBA jersey patch from both of their game-worn uniforms, and their autographs are featured in bold blue ink. This is my favorite card to make this list, a unique one-of-one with an above-average GEM MT rating of eight.

In the 2019 playoffs, Jokic became the fourth player in NBA history to record a triple-double in his playoff debut, doing so against the San Antonio Spurs in a 101-96 loss. He was the first player to achieve this since Lebron James accomplished the same feat in 2006.

2019-20 Panini Flawless Logoman #6 Nikola Jokic Patch Card (#1/1) – BGS MINT 9

$19,200.00

Next up, a card that doesn't feature a rookie Nikola Jokic. This 2019-20 Panini Flawless Logoman is our second logoman to make this list and the first to strictly feature the big man alone. A GEM MINT 9 is great to see, and it's also awesome to see a card that features Jokic in the season before his MVP run. At the young age of 24 on this card, Jokic was already dominating the league, averaging 19.9 points, 9.7 rebounds, and 7 assists. Displaying his unique passing ability and deft scoring touch, fans were excited to see if Big Honey could improve, and he did.

Jokic became the all-time leader for triple-doubles in Denver Nuggets history by his 6th season, passing one of the most underrated players of the 80s, Fat Lever.

2015-16 Panini White Sparkle Prizm #335 Nikola Jokic Rookie Card – BGS PRISTINE 10 – Pop 1

$18,000.00

This card features a pristine GEM MT 10 rating, featuring Jokic in a different light, surrounded by a white sparkly glitter background. And while his game symbolizes the same pizazz that this card has, his soft-spoken nature places him as one of the most humble NBA superstars in the game.

Jokic is a stat monster. Take a look at some of these crazy records.

2015-16 Panini Mojo Prizm #335 Nikola Jokic Rookie Card (#16/25) – PSA GEM MT 10 – Pop 3

$14,402.00

Now let's take the same card we saw above and switch out the background for some wavy gold geometric shapes. Beautiful! Both these cards offer a certain flair compared to the ones listed above, but both are of high quality, coming in at the pristine 10 MT value that collectors are looking for.

Jokic has been married since 2020 to his longtime girlfriend and has a daughter, who was born in September 2021!

2015-16 Immaculate Nikola Jokic & Emmanuel Mudiay Rookie Logoman Patch Auto 1/1

$12,500.00

This card is hilarious, in my opinion. It's a disservice to Jokic that he has to be featured on a card alongside Emmanuel Mudiay. Mudiay wasn't even selected for All-Rookie 1st team alongside Jokic. He only managed to make a second team. Mudiay is also currently not an NBA player, while Jokic has piled up consecutive MVP awards—quite the chasm between the two players' skill levels. I'm really not sure what they were thinking about creating this card.

With all this triple-double talk, I just wanted you to know he's the all-time leader among European players and centers.

2015-16 Panini Prizm Orange #335 Nikola Jokic PSA 10 GEM MINT RC Rookie 38/65

$11,850.00

The beautiful Panini Prizm returns and throws on a beautiful basketball-color orange background to frame the superstar Jokic. It seems that most of these cards in the Prizm collection are only valuable if they manage to hold their pristine condition, so if you happen to find one, protect it as fast as you can!

Jokic is an interesting dude. He's certainly not that American of a person, considering one of his favorite hobbies and pastimes is racing show horses. There's a video on the internet of Jokc receiving his award after a lovely jaunt in his home country, you should check it out.

2015-16 Panini Flawless “Rookie Autographs” Sapphire #NJ Nikola Jokic Signed Rookie Card (#01/10) – BGS GEM MINT 9.5/BGS 10

$9,900.00

Another Gem Mint condition card for our Serbian center. This time the sapphire coloring matches the beautiful baby blue Denver jersey that Jokic is pictured in. There are only ten total cards produced, and you wonder how many have this high of a condition. Make sure if you're opening packs that you keep your eye out for that sapphire blue on the bottom, you could have a great investment on your hands!

2015-16 Panini Orange Prizm #335 Nikola Jokic Rookie Card (#60/65) – PSA GEM MT 10

$9,225.00

Another Panini Orange Prizm, with a little bit more of a notably bright style All these cards still feature the Joke going in for a finger roll layup, and all of them are also GEM MINT 10, this one included. This card offers a similar basketball-orange background with some purple and lighter orange tones bordering the big fella.

2015-16 Panini Purple Prizm #335 Nikola Jokic RC Rookie /99 PSA 10 ”

$9,100.00

Are you sick of the GEM MINT 10 Panini Prizms yet? I hope not! Because we have one more for you before this list draws to a close. This one is definitely a personal favorite over the orange borders, featuring a more distinct colorway of purple and almost a mint-like green tint in the middle. I'm personally a big fan of this card. Does anyone have $9100 to spare?

Nikola Jokic 2020-21 Flawless Laundry Tags Jersey Nike & Autograph card

$8,000.00

Last but not least, we have another card featuring Jokic at his best. The bubble season saw the Denver playoff push, and Jokic really established himself as a superstar in the NBA. This flawless card is as flawless as his game. However, the MINT rating is not provided. We can see the bold blue penned signature and the Nike swoosh on the game-worn jersey patch, which is what makes the card unique and expensive in nature.
