Lane Kiffin Investments

Even without any big name Lane Kiffin endorsements or Lane Kiffin sponsors, his salary alone is enough to afford him luxuries in life.

In 2017, while he was still the head coach of Flordia Atlantic University, Kiffin bought a $2.1 million home in Boca Raton, Florida. The property was reportedly to be at 6,190 square feet, and included a swimming pool.

Prior to this, Kiffin had also been known to hold residences in LA, with spectacular views, from the Hollywood Hills to Santa Monica Pier, to the Griffith Observatory. And then he moved to Tuscaloosa when he came to coach for Alabama.

Lane Kiffin Charities

In 2020, Lane Kiffin donated $20,000 to Rebel Aid as part of the funds that were to help those suffering from the pandemic. Kiffin was joined by other heads of university athletics departments to reach the $50,000 goal.

The year prior, in 2019, Kiffin became the subject of a tribute-turned business venture-turned charity opportunity. When Kiffin left FAU in 2017, an avid football and Kiffin fan decided to sell shirts with the coach’s face on it.

The idea took off, and pretty soon, it had turned into a full-blown business venture, complete with business partners—fellow UAB students Drake Grisham and Matt Lewis. Together, they co-founded Head Coach Tees.

When Kiffin got wind of the business, he connected them to Owl Time, another off-campus apparel store, for a potential partnership. His only condition was that 10 percent of the profits should be donated to the Inky Allison Johnson Foundation. This foundation offers scholarships for thos high school seniors who are “overcoming adversity.”

Today, Lane Kiffin continues to coach for Ole Miss. Making this occasion even more memorable for him is the fact tha he is working with his dad Monte, considered to be one of NFL’s greatest defensive coordinators, being the player personnel analyst for the team.

Lane Kiffin is not particularly known for over-the-top or extravagant purchases from his coaching salary. But he is, in fact, known for his humor that has elevated him somewhat to a meme status in the online community.
