Who is Zion Williamson?
Zion Williamson is one of the most intriguing young players in the NBA. His explosive highlights consistently make the top-10 highlight reels, and his injury history has made sure that drama has followed him throughout the early portion of his career.
Zion won nearly every collegiate award possible in his lone college year, winning the ACC Player of the Year, ACC Rookie of the Year, and ACC Athlete of the Year. He also won the AP Player of the Year award, the Wayman Tisdale award, and the Sporting News Player of the Year award. He was selected first overall, in the same draft as Ja Morant, after a freshman season playing for the Duke Blue Devils and primarily plays the power forward position.
However, due to his unique body, being only 6'6″ and lightning quick, the New Orleans Pelicans have played him at point guard for stretches. This unique versatility and uncanny efficiency propel him to the top of the most popular young players in the NBA.
He has been named to the NBA All-Rookie First Team and became the 4th youngest NBA player to be selected to an NBA All-Star game.

2019-20 Panini National Treasures #108 Zion Williamson Signed Patch Rookie Card (#60/99) – BGS GEM MINT 9.5/BGS 10
$594,000.00
The 2019-20 Panini National Treasures Signed Rookie Card is the most expensive Zion Williamson basketball card ever sold. If you follow sports cards, you'll know this isn't that surprising, as the signed rookie patches are featured highly on nearly all of our most expensive sports card lists.
The 9.5 Gem Mint value obviously provides a ton of value, as its quality is nearly perfect. Featuring an athletic picture of Zion Williamson about to dunk the basketball, collectors jumped on Zion Williamson cards early in the hope he will continue to ascend to future superstardom. A worthy gamble, I'd say!

Graded GEM MINT 9.5 by BGS, with signature graded “10” by Beckett. Rookie Card. Zion Williamson, one of the most anticipated hoops prospects since LeBron James, has signed this elite Panini National Treasures debut-year collectible in stunning blue ink.
The New Orleans Pelicans took Williamson first overall in the 2019 NBA Draft, and the former Duke star exploded onto the scene with a 27.0 points, 7.2 rebounds per game All-Star campaign in 2020-21. A majestic multicolored player-worn/used material pack adorns the card's front next to a photograph of Williamson elevating for a two-handed slam.
The card's True Gem+ BGS condition report: Centering: 10, Corners: 9.5, Edges: 9.5, Surface: 9.5. A statement on the card's back by Panini attests to the authenticity of the signature and memorabilia component and serves as the item's COA. The limited-edition piece is serial-numbered “60/99.”
Of the 70 examples of this card currently in the Beckett population report, this is the only card graded at its tier, with none graded higher! The pop report info is accurate at the time of this writing. Gem Mint condition.

2019-20 Panini Flawless “Dual Logoman” #DL-LJZ LeBron James/Zion Williamson Game Used Patch Rookie Card (#1/1) – PSA Authentic
$204,000.00
This beautiful card features the up-and-coming star Zion Williamson next to one of the goats of the NBA. It has two game-worn jersey patches, and both feature the NBA logo.
These are the cards that get me. The beauty of the logo and the combination of two players on one card lead me to believe they'd be worth more. However, as you'll see with basketball cards, the rookie cards that feature just one all-time great are the prize of many sports card collections.
2019-20 National Treasures “Blockchain” (RPA) #LA-ZW Zion Williamson Signed NBA Logoman Patch Rookie Card (#1/1)
$192,000.00
The problem with this card is it rises and falls with the Bitcoin price. Kidding! But it still is an interesting concept in the space of NFT collectibles.
The physical card shows Zion Williamson rising for a jump shot and a jersey patch that shows the iconic NBA logo. Also unique about this card is that Zion penned his signature with his jersey number alongside his name, #1. Sealed in the manufacturer's factory encasement, it's a pristine quality that's rare to find.
For a little backstory, Panini released these cards with the ability for the buyer to secure both the physical copy of the card and the digital NFT. Personally, I don't think it bolds well for the future of NFTs when they feel they have to include the physical copy to drive sales prices. But that's just me.
2019 Panini Prizm Black Gold Prizms Zion Williamson ROOKIE RC /5 #248 BGS 9 MINT
$192,000.00
The Prizms Black gold features no jersey patch and no signature, but the value is still sky-high. I'm curious whether this is the same photo from the other cards on the top of this list. I think it is, but don't quote me on it. Overall a great card, simple and clean, featuring the one and only Zion Williamson.

2019-20 Panini Prizm Gold #248 Zion Williamson Rookie 10/10 BGS GEM MINT 9.5
$118,261.00
A high mint value but no signature means these cards fall down significantly in value. This is the same card as the one featured above, but this is the “Gold Prizm” vs. the “Black Gold Prizm,” which apparently increases the value by $70,000. The funniest part is that I actually enjoy this card's look more. It's brighter and more exciting to look at, in my opinion.
